They’ve changed their menu and are now one of Cancun’s newest

rich woods and Spanish tiles are some of the features you’ll enjoy

Habichuela - For 25 years the Pezzotti
family has welcomed guests to this lovely home with its lush Mayan
garden, where dining under the stars adds to the allure of twinkling
lights in the trees and candlelit tables. Sooo romantic, it’s no

selected Nº 1 in our locals survey 1999. You'll be glad you made the

Mango Tango - An outstanding setting staged
outdoors beside the Nichupte Lagoon. The tropical atmosphere is
perfectly blended with the very colorful costumes of the dancers and
the upbeat rhythms of the music. A most professional show, including
fun surprises. You'll get your chance to dance later in the evening.
The show begins at 8:30pm, but plan to get there around 7pm. Don't

Great Plantation Era of the Caribbean, when only Royalty dined like
this! Exquisite in every detail, built in sections over the lagoon,
each table overlooks a natural aquarium. Beautiful woodwork, beveled

Gustino - The luxurious J.W. Marriott's
most elegant restaurant is a feast for the eyes and the palate. An
impressive entrance leads past a well-stocked cellar with select
wines from all corners of the world, a gourmet shop and the open

from three dining levels. Exquisite presentation. A violinist adds
to the romantic atmosphere Wednesdays through Sundays.

Dolce Vita - A local’s favorite for over
17 years. George Savio and company consistently provide delicious
food, an excellent wine list (with good prices on the reserve
wines), topnotch service and stylish ambiance. One of the owners is
always ‘hands-on’. Whether you choose to dine indoors or on the
lagoon-side terrace, the restaurant lives up to it’s name, ‘the
sweet life’. |

Savio's - This friendly European-style
eatery has the feel of a winter garden, with its lush plants, cool
colors, and comfortable seating areas. Relaxing soft jazz, very
reasonable prices and friendly service will definitely put you in
the comfort zone. Truly a fine place for dinner. Great bar, two
happy hours (from 5 - 7PM and 10PM - Midnight), perfect for a late
night cocktail or nightcap. |

Stefano's - The prices won't hurt your
wallet, and the owners will make you feel right at home. Cozy and
comfortable, with interior and small garden dining areas. Stefano's
is a good place to visit with friends and see 'El Centro'. If you go
for lunch, ask for the specials menu (Menu Ejecutivo). Service is
congenial, the staff is well informed and the food is consistently
good. |

beautifully decorated “hacienda” filled with exciting sights and

emerald Nichupte Lagoon, Captain's Cove is a Cancún institution.

relax while you enjoy seafood and steaks, wonderful tropical drinks

Crab
House - Located in a two story building
in the middle of the Hotel Zone. Great views of Nichupte Lagoon in
the air-conditioned upstairs dining room; downstairs features an
island-style bar and a large deck lagoon-side. Very casual, children
welcome. The Crab House's expansive menu has something for everyone.

Faro's - A palapa-topped
stairway takes you up to one of the most inviting settings around.
Lovely views look out over Nichupte lagoon and the tropical

Lighthouse. Have a cool tropical drink and watch the sun go

Brisa - Follow the palapa path to one of
the most beautiful ocean views in Cancun. Sitting outside on the

guitar, specializes in romantic requests Monday through
Saturday. |

Lorenzillo's - This very
popular restaurant is built completely out over the water, with
seating inside or on the wraparound deck. Live lobster, from
Lorenzillos's own farms, is excellent. If you like lobster, you
can´t get it any fresher than this! Very casual, comfortable, and
the service is great. You can enjoy before or after-dinner drinks at
a separate bar on the pier connecting to the dining
area. |

Lorito Joe's - Hungry for
seafood? This new restaurant aims to please with all you can eat
buffets displayed in huge clam shells. Diners with big appetites
won’t be disappointed. Tasteful decor including a lovely stained
glass wall, grand wooden columns, and large arched windows. Dine
inside or on the covered terrace nestled alongside the lagoon and
the mangroves. You may even get lucky and see a
crocodile! |
